The 3-Pillar MI Training & Sustainability System
Program Outline
Most agencies struggle with "Practice Drift" - the moment an outside trainer leaves, the skills begin to fade. This 3-part system is designed to solve that problem forever by building Internal Training Capacity. We don't just train your staff; we build your agency’s "Internal Training Engine" so you can onboard new hires and coach veterans without relying on external consultants.
The 3-Pillar Architecture:
- MI Foundations: Mastering the core skills for durable client engagement.
- Supervisory Coaching: Equipping managers to use MI in daily workflows to coach their teams.
- Train-the-Trainer (TOT): Certifying your internal leads to deliver MI training and maintain agency-wide fidelity.
The "Interval-Learning" Roadmap
To ensure true proficiency, our trainers follow a "Learn-Practice-Demonstrate" cycle. This allows participants to encounter real-world challenges and return to the classroom for advanced refinement:
- Phase 1: Knowledge Acquisition. Immersive training on essential MI frameworks.
- Phase 2: Field Practice. Returning to the agency to apply skills in real-time.
- Phase 3: Proficiency & Delivery. Demonstrating mastery, finalizing curricula, and mastering the art of training others.
Why This is a Strategic Asset for Your Agency:
By developing internal trainers, your organization secures three major advantages:
- Zero-Lag Onboarding: New employees are trained immediately; no more waiting for the next scheduled seminar.
- Durable Fidelity: Internal coaches provide the "on-the-spot" reinforcement needed to stop practice drift.
- Sustainability: You own the expertise. Your EBP culture becomes a permanent part of your "Agency Operating System," long after the initial training concludes.
