That alone gives you a sense the process of accreditation is involved and requires commitment on the part of the agency. What does it mean to be ACA accredited? Why would an agency want to get accredited? What are some of the benefits of being accredited? If you decide to get accreditation what is the process for achieving such status? What We Will Cover: In this webinar, participants will learn how accreditation helps agencies establish parity and hold all to the same standard across the system. Participants will learn what they should be doing to successfuly get accredited and what they should steer of. We will review they benefits and process for getting accredited with less pain. Participants will be in a position to understand accreditation and how it can help reduce workloads and increase productivity. They will learn how accreditation can help an agency see where it is now and where its headed through effective use of outcome measures. Who Should Attend? Supervisors charged with operations, management and career development of Staff, including probation and parole, community corrections, mental & behavioral health, case management. social workers, trainers and development personnel at law enforcement, correctional agencies and behavioral change organizations. Mark Andrew Stonex, District Supervisor, Kentucky DOC Division of Probation & Parole Mark A. Stonex is the 3rd District Supervisor with the KY Division of Probation and Parole. He supervises staff in 7 South Central Kentucky Counties.Currently, Mr. Stonex is directing Kentucky’s only comprehensive Parolee Reentry Program titled PORTAL to Success. Mr. Stonex is also Lead Motivational Interviewing Trainer for the Division and an Adjunct Instructor at the KY DOC Training Division. His research interests lie in Evidence Based Case Management and Reentry Initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky and completed a 2-Year Planning Residency with the Barren River Development District.
